Plan your next birdwatching trip

You must have a permit to birdwatch at the Western Treatment Plant, or join one of our two licenced birdwatching tour operators. Upon entering the site you must follow all signage and COVID-safe requirements, including Melbourne Water’s updated COVID-19 vaccination policy.
