Maroondah Council community arts and cultural events

Bring your family and friends and join us for some fun, creative arts workshops where you get to explore, create, learn, share and even inspire others, with your stories or ideas for the open space surrounding and tying in with Tarralla Creek.

Tarralla Flow is a creative community arts project led by Maroondah City Council developed in partnership with Melbourne Water and the Reimagining Tarralla Creek project. Melbourne Water will be listening to the conversations to further develop and inform the design.

Workshops will be held from 30 March to 14 April, 2019 including:

Saturday 30 March, 10 to 12pm & 1 to 3pm - Tarralla Lines: Writing and Storytelling with Richard Holt

Sunday 31 March, 10 to 12pm & 1 to 3pm - Whispering in the wind: Make and decorate flags with artist Anne Riggs

Wednesday 3 April, 2pm to 4pm - Awash with words: pop-up performances with Richard Holt

Saturday 6 April, 10am to 12pm - Weaving Workshops with Aunty Irene Norman

Sunday 7 April, 10am to 12pm - Weaving Workshops with Aunty Irene Norman

Wednesday 10 April, 2pm to 4pm - Awash with words: pop-up performances with Richard Holt

Saturday 13 April, 10am to 3pm - Tarralla Lines: Writing and storytelling with Richard Holt

Sunday 14 April, 10am to 3pm - In the water: Small sculptural artworks from natural materials with Anne Riggs.
