We're committed to enhancing life and liveability in Sunshine by working with the community and project partners to transform a section of Stony Creek at Sunshine Hospital into a fun and friendly open space.

We wanted your help to transform this section of the creek to create a desirable open space that provides connections to the hospital and is a place where people can interact with nature and each other.

To help us reimagine this one kilometre section of Stony Creek we asked you to share your ideas, suggestions and priorities. We did this because we wanted to understand what’s important to you and how the area could be improved to meet your needs and aspirations.

Thanks to everyone who came to see us at our community events and those who shared ideas and information online. We heard from more than 500 people and captured a wide range of views and opinions.

There were many common themes and suggestions too! The Community Engagement Report is now available.

Next steps

While we are committed to delivering this Reimagining your Creek at Sunshine Hospital project in the future, we have put this project on hold as we prioritise activities on the Upper Stony Creek Transformation site for the local St. Albans and Sunshine North community.

We appreciate your invaluable input and thank you for your patience as we work towards delivering this project in the future.
